1. Acceptance
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
ToldYa! is a social network where members post time-bound predictions, vote on others’ predictions in the Arena, comment, follow users, send direct messages, resolve outcomes after deadlines, optionally dispute outcomes, join private rooms with invited friends, share result cards, and build reputation scores by category. The Service is for entertainment, opinion, and community discussion only.
There is no real-money wagering, betting, prizes with monetary value, or virtual currency redeemable for money. Private rooms are for friendly predictions among invited members only—not gambling or financial contracts. Predictions are not financial, legal, or professional advice.
3. Accounts & registration
During open beta, registration is available without an invitation code until we announce otherwise. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We may re-enable invitation-only signup later. If invitation codes are required, you may not share, sell, or publicly distribute codes in a way that circumvents our access controls. We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or close accounts at our discretion.
4. Your responsibilities
As a member of a community social network, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect and comply with applicable laws
- Post only content you have the right to share and that is appropriate for a general-audience social app
- Use your real identity only as permitted by the product (no impersonation or deceptive profiles)
- Not scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service without permission
- Not manipulate votes, rankings, or reputation through bots, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or exploits
- Resolve your own predictions honestly after the deadline when you are the author
- Not submit false or misleading resolution outcomes
- Report content or users you believe violate these Terms
5. Community standards — prohibited content
You may not post, upload, transmit, or link to content that includes or promotes:
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice for violations.
- Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit material, or solicitation of sexual services
- Sexual content involving minors or any exploitation of minors (zero tolerance; we report to authorities where required)
- Graphic violence, gore, or content primarily intended to shock or glorify violence
- Threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, or hate speech targeting individuals or groups
- Illegal activity, fraud, or instructions to cause harm
- Self-harm or suicide promotion (if you are in crisis, seek local emergency or crisis services)
- Spam, malware, phishing, or deceptive schemes
- Personal data of others without their consent (doxxing)
- Intellectual property you do not have rights to use
6. Additional prohibited conduct
You also must not:
- Use the Service if you are barred under applicable law
- Circumvent security, invitation, or rate limits
- Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement
- Use automated means to access the Service except through features we expressly provide
- Collect other users’ data for marketing or harassment
7. Your content & license
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Zuki Apps a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt your content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service (including showing it to other users and in feeds).
You represent that your content does not violate these Terms or third-party rights. You may delete your predictions where the product allows; deletion of your account removes associated content as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Moderation & enforcement
We may (but are not obligated to) monitor, filter, or review content. We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts. Enforcement decisions are at our sole discretion to protect the community and comply with law.
If you believe content or an account violates these Terms, use in-app reporting where available or contact support. We aim to review user reports and block actions within 24 hours for standard community issues, and sooner for child-safety or imminent-harm reports. Outcome disputes are reviewed separately and do not guarantee an immediate change to the displayed result.
9. Voting, resolution & predictions disclaimer
Votes and comments reflect community opinion, not facts verified by us. After the deadline, the prediction author must submit the outcome. We do not guarantee accuracy of predictions, votes, or author-submitted outcomes. Members may dispute an outcome through the in-app process; disputes are reviewed by us but do not instantly overturn the author’s submission.
You use others’ content and community-reported outcomes at your own risk. Reputation scores and leaderboards exclude unresolved predictions and room-only content as described in the product.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://zukiapps.com/toldya/privacy explains how we collect and use personal data, including account deletion, private rooms, resolution disputes, and sharing. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Termination & account deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings or via our Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms or for risk to users or the Service.
Upon termination, licenses you granted survive only as needed for legal compliance and backup deletion cycles.
12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZUKI APPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF USD $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO FOR THE FREE APP).
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction where permitted, subject to mandatory local rights.
14. Author resolution obligations
If you create a prediction, you are responsible for submitting the correct outcome after the voting deadline passes (fulfilled, failed, or void/cancelled). You must not deliberately misstate results. Overdue predictions may display an “awaiting resolution” state, trigger reminders, and may restrict your ability to create new public predictions until resolved.
Optional notes or evidence links you provide at resolution are stored with the prediction and may be visible to members who can view that prediction. We may void or correct outcomes that violate these Terms or after a upheld dispute.
15. Outcome disputes
Members who are not the author may dispute a submitted outcome if they believe it is incorrect. Disputes must be submitted in good faith through the in-app flow. Filing a dispute does not immediately change the outcome, vote history, or reputation score.
We review disputes through our moderation process and may uphold, decline, or correct an outcome. Repeated frivolous or abusive disputes may result in account restrictions. Our decision on disputes is made in our reasonable discretion to protect community integrity.
16. Private rooms
Private rooms allow invited members to post predictions visible only within that room. Room creators and members must comply with these Terms and community standards. Room predictions are not wagers, bets, or contracts for money or prizes.
Room membership is limited as shown in the app. Do not use private rooms to harass others, share illegal content, or circumvent enforcement. We may remove rooms, predictions, or members that violate these Terms. Global leaderboards and public reputation exclude room-only predictions.
17. Sharing result cards
The Service may let you export an image card summarizing a resolved prediction (including your username, question, outcome, and branding) and share it through third-party apps. You are responsible for ensuring your shares comply with these Terms and the policies of the platform where you post.
Do not use shared cards to misrepresent outcomes, impersonate others, or promote prohibited content. Shared deep links may require an account to view the underlying Arena.
18. Safety tools (Apple & Google requirements)
Because ToldYa! includes user-generated content, we provide:
You must use these tools responsibly. False or malicious reports may lead to enforcement action against your account.
- In-app reporting on predictions, comments, profiles, and messages (where available)
- The ability to block users so their content is hidden from your feed
- Published Community Guidelines and a Child Safety Standards page
- A published contact for support and a designated child-safety contact
- Moderation and enforcement, including removal of violating content and account suspension or termination
