Does it upload my location?

No. Position is used only on-device to measure distance to zone boundaries. It is not stored or uploaded.

No. You can browse cities and zones without GPS. Location is optional for distance alerts.

Is the zone data official live municipal data?

The current build uses demonstration zone data for a set of Italian cities. Treat it as guidance, not a legal driving permit.
