Account deletion is a permanent action and cannot be undone. All data associated with your account will be permanently deleted, including photos, videos, folders, and settings.
Account Deletion Instructions
Open the Hush Gallery app on your device
Log in to your account (if you haven't already)
Navigate to Settings (usually accessible from the main menu or profile)
Scroll down until you find the "Delete Account" or "Account Settings" option
Tap the "Delete Account" button and read the warning message carefully
Confirm the deletion - the account and all data will be permanently deleted
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:
Account information: name, email address, user ID (if using cloud backup)
Photos and videos: all media stored in the app
Folders and collections: all organized folders and albums
Settings and preferences: app settings, PIN/password, biometric settings
Cloud backup data: all encrypted backup data (if cloud backup was enabled)
Metadata: all metadata associated with your media
Local storage: all data stored in the app's private directory
Deleting Some Data (Without Deleting the Account)
If you wish to delete only some data without deleting the account, you can:
Delete individual photos/videos: Open the media โ Delete option
Delete folders: Open folder โ Delete folder option
Clear app data: Settings โ Clear all data (keeps account)
Disable cloud backup: Settings โ Disable cloud backup (removes cloud data but keeps local data)
Retention Period
After account deletion, data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days. During this period, data may be retained in backups, but will not be accessible through the app. Local data on your device will be deleted immediately when you delete the account through the app.
