No. Open the app and tap New Game. Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) is optional for leaderboards and achievements.

Yes. Sudoku Fun Go is free to download and play. Ads support development. You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad (iOS), and Android phones and tablets with Google Play services. Requires a recent OS version — see the store listing for details.

What are the difficulty levels?

Can I pause mid-game?

Yes. Tap pause; the timer stops until you resume. Your puzzle is saved automatically.

What happens if I quit?

If you leave without finishing, that puzzle’s progress is lost. Use Continue Game on the home screen to return to an in-progress puzzle.

Turn on Notes, tap a cell, then tap digits to mark candidates. When you place a confirmed number, matching notes in the row, column, and box can auto-clear (if enabled in Settings).

Do hints hurt my score?

Yes. Each hint costs 300 points from your final score. Use them when stuck, but fewer hints = higher rank.

How many mistakes are allowed?

Mistakes are tracked and reduce your score (−500 each). The puzzle does not end on a wrong entry — you can keep solving.

How is my score calculated?

Base = 10,000 × difficulty multiplier (Easy ×1, Medium ×2, Hard ×3, Expert ×5) Minus 2 points per second, 500 per mistake, 300 per hint. Example: Expert, 10 minutes, 0 mistakes, 0 hints → up to 48,800 before time penalty details.

Why is my leaderboard empty?

Sign in to Game Center or Play Games, complete a puzzle to submit a score, then open Statistics → Friends or Global. Install from the Play Store or App Store (not sideload) for full Play Games / billing support on Android.

How do achievements unlock?

Automatically when you meet goals (first win, streaks, flawless solve, etc.). Open Statistics → Achievements to view progress.

We use the information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Locally stored data (puzzles, stats, settings) is not transmitted to our servers except as needed for optional services (e.g. Game Center / Play Games).

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Leaderboard scores and achievements are shared with the respective platform (Apple Game Center, Google Play Games) when you use those features.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures. Your game data is stored locally on your device. If you use Game Center or Play Games, their policies apply to data processed by those services.

5. Your Rights

You can clear local data via the app's Settings (e.g. reset statistics). You may also delete the app at any time. For platform-specific data (e.g. Game Center), you can manage that in your device or account settings.

6. Advertising and In-App Purchases

The app may show ads (e.g. via Google Mobile Ads). We may use device identifiers and usage data for ad delivery and measurement in accordance with our ad providers' policies. In-app purchases (e.g. remove ads) are processed by Apple or Google; we do not store payment details.
