Beginner
1. Ask "does this make sense?" — the mistake couldn't be right in a real room, like a keyhole above a door handle. 2. Look before you tap: each miss costs an attempt. 3. Try the free hint in room 1 to see what a fix looks like.
Getting better
4. Scan in a grid, one area at a time. 5. Check things that come in pairs or rows. 6. Think about how things work — doors, lights, furniture, clothes.
Lives
7. Leaving a room costs a life, so keep looking while you have attempts. 8. Lives return every 30 minutes, even with the app closed. 9. Stuck? Share the room with a friend or watch a short video to see where to look. Out of taps? A video gives you two more.

Is Tricky Rooms free?+
Yes. It's free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases: refill lives, buy a pack of 5 hints, or unlock Unlimited (unlimited lives and no banner or full-screen ads).
What age is it for?+
Everyone. Cartoon art, no violence, no chat and no user-generated content.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. All 30 rooms play offline. Ads, purchases and sharing need a connection.
Do I need an account?+
No. Your progress is saved on your device.
How many rooms are there?+
30 rooms in 6 halls of 5 doors. Doors open in order.
How many taps do I get?+
5 per room in the first hall, then 4, 3, and 2 in the last hall. A miss leaves a red scratch and costs one.
How do lives work?+
You have 5. Failing a room, trying again, or leaving a room after a tap costs one; backing out before your first tap is free. A new life arrives every 30 minutes, even with the app closed.

Share the room picture with friends from the fail screen, or watch a short video to see where to look. Out of taps? A video gives you two more.
Is this the old Tricky Rooms?+
It's a remaster of the 2014 original: the same rooms, art and music, rebuilt for today's phones and tablets. Progress from the old app doesn't carry over.
Will there be more rooms?+
Yes — more halls are planned and will arrive in free updates. Your progress carries straight on into them.
What ads are there?+
A banner on the win and fail screens, occasional full-screen ads between rooms (never in your first session or first five rooms), and optional videos you choose to watch for a life or a hint.
How do I restore Unlimited?+
Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account.
