ZuList requires access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to take and upload photos of shopping list items. We only access these features when you explicitly choose to add a photo to a list or item. Photos are stored securely in our cloud storage and are only accessible to you and users you share your lists with.

7. Crash Reporting and Error Analytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to collect information about app crashes and errors. This helps us identify and fix issues to improve your experience.

Data Collected:

  • Technical information about crashes and errors (stack traces, error messages)
  • Device information (operating system, device model, app version)
  • Installation ID (a unique identifier for your app installation, not linked to your personal identity)
  • Custom diagnostic information related to errors (error codes, operation types)

Purpose:

  • Identify and fix bugs and crashes
  • Improve app stability and performance
  • Analyze error patterns

Data Sharing:

This data is processed by Google Firebase and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention:

Crash reports are retained by Firebase for up to 90 days and are then automatically deleted.

Your Rights:

You can opt-out of crash reporting by disabling it in your device settings, though this may prevent us from fixing issues that affect you.
