Is Tricky Rooms free?

Yes. It's free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases: refill lives, buy a pack of 5 hints, or unlock Unlimited (unlimited lives and no banner or full-screen ads).

Does it work offline?

Yes. All 30 rooms play offline. Ads, purchases and sharing need a connection.

Do I need an account?

No. Your progress is saved on your device.

How many rooms are there?

30 rooms in 6 halls of 5 doors. Doors open in order.

How many taps do I get?

5 per room in the first hall, then 4, 3, and 2 in the last hall. A miss leaves a red scratch and costs one.

You have 5. Failing a room, trying again, or leaving a room after a tap costs one; backing out before your first tap is free. A new life arrives every 30 minutes, even with the app closed.

I'm stuck — any help?

Share the room picture with friends from the fail screen, or watch a short video to see where to look. Out of taps? A video gives you two more.

Is this the old Tricky Rooms?

It's a remaster of the 2014 original: the same rooms, art and music, rebuilt for today's phones and tablets. Progress from the old app doesn't carry over.

Will there be more rooms?

Yes — more halls are planned and will arrive in free updates. Your progress carries straight on into them.

A banner on the win and fail screens, occasional full-screen ads between rooms (never in your first session or first five rooms), and optional videos you choose to watch for a life or a hint.

How do I restore Unlimited?

Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Zuki Apps. Contact details are at the end of this Policy.

This Policy applies to the Tricky Rooms game and the legal pages we publish for it.

2. Information we collect

Tricky Rooms has no accounts and we run no servers for it.

Game progress (rooms, lives, settings) stored only on your device and deleted when you uninstall
Advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob
Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics
Purchase records handled by Apple or Google — we never receive your payment details

4. Advertising and consent

Where required, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown: Google's consent form in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and some US states, and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.

You can change ad consent in the app's settings and limit ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

5. Storage and security

Game progress never leaves your device. Data sent by the SDKs is encrypted in transit.

Ad, analytics and purchase partners retain data under their own policies.

6. Third-party services

Google AdMob and Firebase process data under Google's privacy policy. In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing under their policies.

Sharing a room picture uses your device's share sheet; we do not see what you share or with whom.

7. Your rights and children

Depending on your region you may have rights to access or delete data. Delete all game data by uninstalling, or email [email protected] and we will help.

Tricky Rooms is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new Last updated date.
